Grant request submitted for Yorkville and Raymond Internet expansion
(December 26, 2019) Mount Pleasant WI – e-vergent.com, LLC. (www.e-vergent.com), an Internet Service Provider in Wisconsin and Illinois, submitted a grant to the State of Wisconsin Public Service Commission’s Broadband Office.
The proposed project covers locations in the Village of Yorkville and Village of Raymond and will pass 126 homes with fiber optic internet service.
“Based on the success of our first fiber to the home project in the Village of Raymond and the State’s dollar for dollar grant program, we are excited to do another fiber optic project,” stated Joe Falaschi President of e-vergent. He also points out that every year the fixed wireless technology E-vergent is known for deploying gets better and the company is expanding that network without any grant assistance.
The Wisconsin Public Service Commission received 142 applications and will announce winning applications in the spring of 2020.
